| Making a car repair is never worth risking your life, if you have any doubts don't do it! Always use quality jack stands on a solid flat surface. Always use the right tool for the job. Don't take short cut's they'll burn ya in the end. Always refer to tech manuals & follow them they are the car bible! Never work on gas tanks or gas line in a garage around a water heater I can remember back from when I was a lil kid a father & son lost there lives in my home town that way. When in doubt fuck it leave it for a pro!
In case you might wonder who the hell I am to give this advice, well I am retired ase master tech, Ford certified master specialist 35 plus years working in the automotive & truck repair biz. Was one of the highest rated on yahoo answers but I gave up on that too time consuming. I have lots of other certifications including General Motors & others My specialties are automotive electrical systems & ac systems (gravy work) lol.The last 20 years had been with Ford.
Oh did I say? I HATE WORKING ON CARS!!!!! | |
